Ozona Bar and Grill Directions
Our next Dallas alumni luncheon is Tuesday, May 15th, at Ozona Grill, 4615 Greenville Avenue (between East Mockingbird and Lovers Lane). Plans for a speaker have not been finalized at this time. We will start gathering between 11:30 and 11:45AM. The buffet line will be open at 12 noon. We will have a few announcements, have attendees introduce themselves (which we haven't done in 4-5 luncheons) and wrap up by 1PM.
There are still a few $10 tickets left for the Frisco RoughRiders versus San Antonio game at 7PM on Saturday, May 19th. So far, more than 90 tickets have been reserved and paid for by Delts from 12 chapters. If you are interested in going, e-mail Jay Langhammer at Jlangha132@aol.com. Tickets will be picked up at the Will Call window at the stadium, beginning at 6PM the night of the game. Our food & beverage service will be from 6:30 to 8:30PM. Parking at the stadium ($10) is not included but we'll have our own private area on the third base side, food/drinks, a game program and a RoughRiders cap for all attendees. The Will Call list will need to be turned in on May 16th to our Delt contact with the team's front office, Adam Krouse, Auburn '08.
Keep in mind that Karnea reservations for Delts living in Texas and Oklahoma still have special reduced packages if ordered by the end of May. You can order a special two day package for Friday and Saturday events or a one day Saturday package, that includes a discussion by Texas Tech Delts Kent Hance '65, Chancellor of the University, and former General Motors Chairman Ed Whitacre '64; a luncheon address by Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, Texas '80 and the Karnea banquet Saturday night. Over 1,100 Delts and family members will be attending the Lone Star Karnea from all over the nation. For more Karnea details, go to Delt website www.delts.org. ;
